About
Built for young people, and the people walking beside them.
Sole Purpose is a youth-support organisation working across mentoring, family support, school programs, and consulting. We partner with families, schools, community services, agencies, and organisations to support young people through practical, coordinated care.
Why we exist
No young person should have to move through challenge alone.
Young people rarely exist in one setting. What happens at home can affect school. What happens at school can affect behaviour. What happens socially can affect confidence, identity, and wellbeing.
Sole Purpose works with the full picture. We support young people directly, while also working with the families, schools, services, and systems around them.

What we do in practice

How we create impact
We support young people directly, coordinate the systems around them, and advise organisations responsible for delivering youth services.
Our Approach
Support that is calm, considered, and easy to follow.
We begin by understanding the young person’s needs and the systems already around them. From there, we define the scope of support, agree on the right approach, and maintain clear communication with everyone involved.
01
Understand
We take time to understand the young person, their context, and the supports already in place.
02
Scope
We define the focus of support, expected outcomes, roles, communication points, and review process.
03
Support
We deliver mentoring, family support, school programs, or consulting in a way that is steady and practical.
04
Review
We check progress, adjust where needed, and keep referrers, families, schools, and partners informed.

Our principles
Our practice is built on three principles
Structured
Relational
Consistent relationships are central to how we work with young people and families.
Consistent
We maintain reliable communication and follow-through with referrers, families, and partner organisations.
Trusted support for sensitive youth needs.
We are designed to operate within formal referral and partnership systems. Referrers and stakeholders can expect clear scoping, appropriate communication, and coordinated delivery throughout an engagement.
