Services

Clear scope. Steady delivery. Coordinated support.

Sole Purpose delivers four core services across mentoring, family support, schools, and organisational consulting. Each is scoped clearly and coordinated with the referrers, families, and agencies already involved.

Teen Mentoring (Sole Purpose)

What it is?

One-to-one mentoring for young people, providing consistent individual support over time.

Who it is for?

Teens who would benefit from a reliable, structured relationship outside the immediate family and school environment — often referred by schools, youth services, or families.

When it is used?

Used where a young person needs sustained individual attention, early intervention, or support navigating school, relationships, or behaviour.

How it works?

A mentor is matched to the young person and meets with them regularly. Goals and focus areas are defined at the outset and reviewed throughout. Progress and relevant updates are shared appropriately with referrers and families.

Why it matters?

Consistent one-to-one support gives young people a stable point of contact and a structured way to work through challenges.

Case Management & Family Support

What it is?

Coordination and practical intervention support for young people and their families.

Who it is for?

Families and young people facing complex or overlapping needs that involve multiple services or systems.

When it is used?

Used where support needs to be coordinated across school, home, and external agencies — particularly when existing arrangements have become fragmented or difficult to manage.

How it works?

We assess the situation, identify the practical priorities, and coordinate the people and services involved. This includes communication with schools and agencies, support with appointments and processes, and clear ongoing review.

Why it matters?

Coordinated support reduces gaps and duplication, giving families a single, organised point of contact.

School Programs (Sole Purpose)

What it is?

Wellbeing workshops, mentoring, and engagement support delivered within schools.

Who it is for?

Schools seeking structured support for student wellbeing, engagement, and behaviour — at a group or individual level.

When it is used?

Used to support whole cohorts, targeted groups, or individual students, depending on the school’s needs and existing wellbeing structures.

How it works?

We work with wellbeing coordinators and school leadership to scope the program, define objectives, and deliver sessions that fit the school timetable and environment. Delivery is coordinated with school staff throughout.

Why it matters?

Programs that fit within a school’s existing structures are more sustainable and easier to maintain over time.

Youth & Community Consulting

What it is?

Program development, advisory, and systems support for organisations working with young people.

Who it is for?

Government agencies, community organisations, and services seeking to design, review, or strengthen youth-focused programs and systems.

When it is used?

Used when an organisation is developing a new program, reviewing an existing one, or addressing structural challenges in how youth services are delivered.

How it works?

We work with stakeholders to understand objectives and constraints, then provide structured advice, program design, or systems support. Engagements are scoped to defined deliverables and timeframes.

Why it matters?

Practical, experienced input helps organisations build programs that are workable and sustainable.
